❌Callout 12/01/2019❌

January 12, 2019

The team were called out at approximately 1545 this afternoon to assist a Male hill walker with a suspected ankle injury on the Goatfell path.
Team members reached the casualties location quickly and after assessing his injuries, the casualty was able to be helped to the teams Argo cat then transferred to our Land Rover.
He was then transported to our team base to get further warmed up.

The team would like to remind anyone venturing up the Arran hills at this time of year, that although it is not visibly winter conditions as yet, the weather can still be harsh and the correct clothing for the forecast as well as all other hill walking essentials are highly advisable.
