Then and now

February 21, 2018

Thanks to Russell Duncan for sending us in this old picture to share of his brother Robbie sitting on a Mountain Rescue Land Rover outside the Kingsley hotel in Brodick around the 1950s.
This was before the Arran MRT was officially formed so possibly an RAF Mountain Rescue vehicle?
Would be interesting to know if over on the island for training or a Callout.
The AMRT now has three vehicles consisting of two Land Rovers and one 4x4 pick up due the the expansion of team members and equipment.

It’s amazing how things have progressed since this was taken!
