December 2016 exercise - Locating/Handling/Extraction of casualties

December 4, 2016

December exercise-Locating/Handling/Extraction of casualties.
The team had a great day tackling various scenarios which had been set up in the North Sannox area.
Team members split into two groups and our team dogs(Ruby who is our qualified @sardasouthernscotland mountain rescue search dog and Caileag who is our trainee) were tasked to search and help locate the casualties.
Each scenario was different with the casualties having sustained various injuries over different sorts of terrain giving the team some great practise with casualty handling and extraction.
Arran RNLI were utilised to assist with a shore line search from the fallen rocks along towards Laggan cottage during one of the scenarios.

A great day had by all!
