Rope-work training evening

August 18, 2016

The team were out practicing rope-work skills this evening which involved a scenario to rescue two casualties who had fallen into a steep gorge.
One of the casualties had to be lifted out in our stretcher due to their injuries but the other was able to be lifted to safety using a piece of kit known as "the nappy".
A rigging system was set up to enable the team to evacuate the two casualties out safely from their location.

The midgies thought all their Christmases had come at once with all us lot to eat but a great evenings training!
