​For many years the Team "base" was a hut that housed all the essential equipment with little room left for anything else. Space would be at a premium if everybody turned up for a briefing for an incident!​

Thanks to the generosity of the Order of St John the team relocated to a purpose built base in 2009.

The new base is located at Cladach in Brodick and has new facilities including a central communications room/office, locker area, shower and toilet facilities (for both sexes!),communal area/meeting room and a double garage for the storage of team equipment and Land Rovers.
